Michael will be instrumental in driving the strategic vision of \u201cMaison De Couture\u201d in India. His first major focus will be to ensure the success of the strategic joint venture with \u201cmajoliX Global\u201d and establish a strong foothold in India\u2019s burgeoning fashion industry.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking on the occasion,\u00a0Mr Jay Kamdar, the global CEO and President for Maison De Couture said, \u201cWe are thrilled to welcome Michael Mili to our \u201cMaison De Couture\u201d team as the Managing Director, India. He led varied multicultural teams in diverse global organizations across India, USA, China, Italy, Egypt, Singapore, UAE, Thailand and Sri Lanka.<\/p>\n<p>At the start of his career, Michael worked for an Italian design automation software firm\u00a0think3 Design\u00a0and helped build people processes from ground zero in India. As the HR Head of\u00a0IBM Network Solutions\u00a0group, Michael led the integration of its people and business processes into the IBM ecosystem. At\u00a0Bosch Global Software, Michael led numerous \u2018new age\u2019 work-ways design and Global Mobility frameworks. Michael also worked with Indian mobile handset leader\u00a0Lava International\u00a0where he led the\u00a0\u201cProject Vistaar\u201d\u00a0people process which saw its people growth process from 650 employees to more than 12000.<\/p>\n<p>Michael did his\u00a0MBA\u00a0from the prestigious management institute\u00a0XLRI Jamshedpur\u00a0and his Bachelor\u2019s Degree in\u00a0Journalism\u00a0from\u00a0University of Delhi. Away from his professional life, Michael is an artist at heart. He started\u00a0cartooning\u00a0from the young age of 14 years for popular newspapers in Assam and national dailies like\u00a0\u201cThe Sentinel\u201d,\u00a0\u201cThe Assam Tribune\u201d\u00a0and\u00a0\u201cThe National Herald\u201d. His political and social cartoons and interviews of his cartoons have appeared in \u201cThe Statesman\u201d \u201cThe Target\u201d of \u201cIndia Today\u201d group, \u201cThe North East Times\u201d, \u201cDoordarshan\u201d and other national publications. In the mid-1990s, he was dubbed by\u201d The Sentinel\u201d as the\u00a0\u201cYoungest Professional cartoonist of India\u201d.
