{"id":30471,"date":"2024-08-24T18:34:25","date_gmt":"2024-08-24T13:04:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/livemumbai.in\/index.php\/2024\/08\/24\/vedantas-mobile-health-service-benefits-over-3300-locals-holds-120-health-camps-in-odishas-rayagada\/"},"modified":"2024-08-24T18:34:25","modified_gmt":"2024-08-24T13:04:25","slug":"vedantas-mobile-health-service-benefits-over-3300-locals-holds-120-health-camps-in-odishas-rayagada","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/livemumbai.in\/index.php\/2024\/08\/24\/vedantas-mobile-health-service-benefits-over-3300-locals-holds-120-health-camps-in-odishas-rayagada\/","title":{"rendered":"Vedanta\u2019s Mobile Health Service Benefits Over 3,300 Locals, Holds 120+ Health Camps In Odisha\u2019s Rayagada"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>New Delhi [India] August 24:<\/strong> Sijimali Rayagada (Odisha), August 24, 2024: Adhering religiously to its Community Social Responsibility (CSR) commitments, India\u2019s largest aluminium producer, Vedanta Aluminium, has already launched its Mobile Health Service (MHS) since May this year so that it could cater to the healthcare needs of remote villages in the peripheral areas of the company\u2019s Sijimali mines situated in southern-Odisha\u2019s tribal-dominated Rayagada district.<\/p>\n<p>Since the inception of Vedanta\u2019s MHS in May 2024, over 3,300 beneficiaries belonging to 18 villages have meanwhile reaped the healthcare benefits, while the well-equipped Mobile Health Units (MHUs) of Vedanta, standing ever ready to meet the exigencies, have already organised over 120 successful health camps till date.<\/p>\n<p>The well-equipped MHUs armed with eligible and efficient doctors as well as paramedic staff have been conducting health check-ups, blood sugar tests, etc, and also distributing medicines free of cost. Besides, regular health camps are being held for creating awareness among the villagers along with taking preventive measures.<\/p>\n<p>Lauding such an initiative, accredited local ASHA worker Mrs Basanti Bagh in her reactions said, \u201cVedanta\u2019s MHUs have been rendering yeoman service in the healthcare sector here by providing essential medical service that is a dire need in this remote pockets inhabited by the poor, hapless and ignorant rural folks.\u201d <img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-48975\" src=\"https:\/\/livemumbai.in\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/image-2-18-1024x576-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"736\" height=\"414\" srcset=\"https:\/\/livemumbai.in\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/image-2-18-1024x576-1.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/pnn.digital\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/image-2-18-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/pnn.digital\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/image-2-18-768x432.jpg 768w, https:\/\/pnn.digital\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/image-2-18-150x84.jpg 150w, https:\/\/pnn.digital\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/image-2-18-450x253.jpg 450w, https:\/\/pnn.digital\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/image-2-18.jpg 1200w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 736px) 100vw, 736px\"><\/p>\n<p>Ambapadar villager Sakar Majhi in his reactions said, \u201cSuch a move is highly praiseworthy for which I would like to thank a lot to the Vedanta, because its MHU is a boon to us.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Notably, Vedanta\u2019s Mobile Health Unit (MHU) is a testimony of the company\u2019s CSR commitments towards the state following which more than two (02) lakhs people hailing from more than 100 villages across Odisha have been benefitted till date.<\/p>\n<p>Moreover, Vedanta Aluminium has taken a solemn pledge for the developments in fields of Odisha\u2019s health, education, employment, rural infrastructure and sports sectors at the grassroots level.
