The first phase took place in Varanasi on March 29 and 30, with over 200+ players participating in the trials. This initiative aimed to provide players, especially those from villages and small towns, a platform to showcase their skills, play alongside national-level athletes, and gain exposure through national and international broadcasts.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span dir=\"LTR\">The overwhelming response from players in Varanasi has set high expectations for the upcoming trials in Lucknow, Noida, and Muzaffarnagar. With such a positive turnout, the next phases are expected to be even more exciting and competitive. Dates for the trials in these cities will be announced soon.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span dir=\"LTR\"><strong>League Highlights:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span dir=\"LTR\">8 Franchise Teams:<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span dir=\"LTR\">Noida Thunders<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span dir=\"LTR\">Gorakhpur Giants<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span dir=\"LTR\">Kashi Warriors<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span dir=\"LTR\">Moradabad Bulls<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span dir=\"LTR\">Lucknow Tigers<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span dir=\"LTR\">Mathura Yodhas<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span dir=\"LTR\">Ayodhya Super Kings<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span dir=\"LTR\">Muzaffarnagar Lions<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span dir=\"LTR\">Players selected from each trial will be entered into the UPPVL Player Auction, where teams will build their squads.
