Savitri Thakur, Union Minister of State, Ministry of Women and Child Development<\/strong>, Government of India. The event was organised by the Institute for Sustainable Development Research and Reforms (ISDRR), New Delhi, in collaboration with Envision Energy India.<\/p>\n<p>The<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>Jeevan Setu Project is a grassroots movement initiated to promote health, nutrition, and hygiene among rural communities, especially women, children, and adolescents in\u00a0<strong>Madhya Pradesh &amp; Gujarat<\/strong>. The aim is to guide people towards healthier lives through information, services, and behaviour change.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key initiatives of the project include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Motor Skill Development Programs<\/strong>\u00a0for children aged 3\u20136 at Anganwadi centers to improve cognitive ability and overall development<\/li>\n<li><strong>Behaviour Change Campaigns<\/strong>\u00a0in schools focused on health, nutrition, and hygiene to foster healthy habits from early childhood<\/li>\n<li><strong>Promotion of Local and Seasonal Foods<\/strong>\u00a0to enhance dietary diversity and improve nutrition practices<\/li>\n<li><strong>Anaemia Prevention<\/strong>\u00a0through iron-folic acid supplementation and promotion of nutritious and balanced eating habits<\/li>\n<li><strong>Special Health Camps for Women<\/strong>\u00a0offering screenings for high blood pressure, diabetes, breast, and cervical cancer<\/li>\n<li><strong>Regular Check-ups for Pregnant Women<\/strong>, identification and referral of high-risk pregnancies, and early detection of birth defects and developmental delays in children through departmental collaboration and capacity-building programs<\/li>\n<li><strong>Community Participation in Hygiene and Cleanliness<\/strong>\u00a0with support from Gram Panchayats to encourage healthy living practices<\/li>\n<li><strong>Public Awareness Campaigns<\/strong>\u00a0that also address road safety, environmental protection, and public health behaviours to strengthen collective consciousness and involvement<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Envision Energy India is commemorating its 9<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0Anniversary of business operations &amp; is a key partner in this initiative.
