The 12 km Bikeathon, which started and concluded at HCG Cancer Centre, Bengaluru, took participants through key stretches of the city in a symbolic ride promoting awareness and action. The event saw enthusiastic participation from over 300 women riders and was flagged off by Ms Manisha Kumar, Chief Operating Officer \u2013 Karnataka, Healthcare Global Enterprises Ltd., alongside Dr Smitha Saldanha, Consultant Medical Oncology, HCG Cancer Centre, Bengaluru. The initiative aimed to bring together women from across the city, promoting unity and awareness, and encouraging them to take proactive steps toward their breast health through regular self-examinations and timely screenings.<\/p>\n<p>As part of the awareness effort, all women bikers received free breast examinations and mammograms. This symbolic yet powerful gesture reinforced the hospital\u2019s commitment to preventive healthcare and early detection, which remain the most effective weapons against breast cancer.<\/p>\n<p>The event received strong community backing, with Biker Saviours Bengaluru, Bharath on Wheels, and 16 other major biker clubs lending their support. Together, they aimed to turn this ride into a vibrant celebration of women\u2019s strength, solidarity, and health awareness.
