Bengaluru (Karnataka) [India], November 15:\u00a0 <\/strong>The Singapore Business Federation (SBF) today inaugurated its fourth Singapore Enterprise Centre (SEC)<\/strong>\u00a0in\u00a0Bengaluru<\/strong>, India \u2014 its first outside Southeast Asia \u2014 to help Singapore enterprises, especially SMEs, tap into India\u2019s fast-growing market. The new Centre is part of the\u00a0GlobalConnect@SBF initiative<\/strong>\u00a0by\u00a0Enterprise Singapore (EnterpriseSG)<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0SBF<\/strong>, which supports companies in their international expansion through advisory services, networking, and business matching.<\/p>\n

India, the world\u2019s fourth-largest economy with a projected GDP growth of 6.6% in 2025, remains Singapore\u2019s largest source of FDI for the seventh consecutive year. With business interest from Singapore companies rising steadily, the\u00a0SEC@Bengaluru<\/strong>\u00a0aims to engage over\u00a0470 enterprises in the next two years<\/strong>\u00a0through trade missions, seminars, and market programmes.<\/p>\n

The launch was officiated by\u00a0Ms Gan Siow Huang<\/strong>, Singapore\u2019s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Trade and Industry;\u00a0Ms Shobha Karandlaje<\/strong>, India\u2019s Minister for Labour and Employment and MSME; and\u00a0Mr Priyank M. Kharge<\/strong>, Karnataka\u2019s Minister for Electronics, IT & Biotechnology, and Rural Development.<\/p>\n

A\u00a0Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)<\/strong>\u00a0was signed between\u00a0LAC Global Pte Ltd<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0JVKM India (Mitraa Wellness)<\/strong> to expand their collaboration in health and wellness, combining Singapore\u2019s science-based formulations with India\u2019s traditional natural healing practices.<\/p>\n

The new\u00a0SBF\u2013India Business Committee (SBF\u2013IBC)<\/strong>, chaired by\u00a0Mr Prasoon Mukherjee<\/strong>, Chairman of\u00a0Universal Success Enterprises Ltd<\/strong>, will serve as a strategic bridge between the business communities of both countries. Key corporate partners supporting SEC@Bengaluru include\u00a0HSBC<\/strong>\u00a0(Banking Services),\u00a0In.Corp Advisory Services<\/strong>\u00a0(Incorporation),\u00a0Black Mountain<\/strong>\u00a0(Human Resources),\u00a0Universal Success Enterprise<\/strong>,\u00a0New Kolkata International Development<\/strong>,\u00a0Transworld<\/strong>,\u00a0Thakral Group<\/strong>, and\u00a0MAP Group (PT Mitra Adiperkasa)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Mr Prasoon Mukherjee<\/strong>, Chairman of the SBF\u2013India Business Committee, said, \u201cThe Bengaluru Centre will empower enterprises from both nations with trusted partnerships and real-time market intelligence, turning the \u2018Make in India\u2019 and \u2018Digital India\u2019 visions into cross-border success.\u201d<\/p>\n
