Sanskriti ke Rang” An international Painting competition organized by Charu castle foundation supported by U.P.Tourism

Ghaziabad (Uttar Pradesh) [India], March 2: Sanskriti ke Rang,” An international Painting competition organized by the Charu castle foundation supported by U.P.Tourism concluded with the Award ceremony and Exhibition of selected paintings recently in Ghaziabad City.

The Competition received thousands of paintings from Educational Institutes from various states of India and 15 countries which includes the Philippines, Latvia, Bangladesh, Srilanka, Nepal, Thailand, Cambodia, Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Dubai (UAE), Malaysia, Romania, Korea, Taiwan (Chinese Taipei), Poland. Participants sent their work by post to CCF. 

 In mid of February, An award ceremony and Exhibition were held to honour the winners and highlight the work done by young artists. 

Participants from Nepal, Russia, Cambodia, Philippines, along with Himachal, Rajasthan and Punjab, bagged the top awards, and other winners were awarded in various categories according to their age groups.   

A large number of students, Art Teachers and many reputed principals from Ghaziabad, Noida, Delhi, and Gurgaon attended the ceremony and received their prizes which included Cash Prizes, Trophies, Mementoes, Medals, Merit Certificates and participation certificates. Appreciation certificates to Art teachers and Principals were also given in recognition of their efforts to encourage the students to participate in the activity. The prizes and Certificates to winners and participants from other states in India and abroad were sent to them by post.

The work from Kyrgyzstan and Romania was also applauded by all visitors as they made their work based on Indian Culture themes, Showing their passion and love towards art and India.

The Press release says that Young artists used different colors and did their best and made masterpieces on various themes highlighting Culture, Tourism Destinations of U.P., Portraits of Freedom Fighters and many posters and paintings on various social messages also highlighted today at the exhibition and A rainbow of work done on various themes specially created are Varanasi Ghats, Taj Mahal, Ganges, Ganga Aarti, God and Goddess, Pencil art portraits are worth to see.

Chief Guest, Sh. Baldev Raj Sharma, Sr. BJP leader, gave the awards to the winners and blessed them. He also appreciated the work of the Charu Castle foundation, which has been continuously working for the last two decades in the field of Art and Culture and highlighting the name of Uttar Pradesh on the world platform. He further mentioned these kinds of activities not only bring out the creativity of students but also take them closer to the Culture. He also saw the exhibition and applauded the work done by the students.

During the event, students got an opportunity to know the folk dance – Culture from Timor Liste Country (Near Indonesia ); an 11-member folk dance group specially came to present their Folk Dance, Music and song, which was applauded by all with a standing ovation.

The award ceremony also welcomed the 8-member delegation from the Russian Embassy school along with the art teacher who was honoured, and winners were awarded Cash Prize, Mementos and medals.  

Art and culture know no boundaries, and an artist can use his painting as a message to society said to Pawan Kapoor Gen. Secretary of Charu Castle foundation and designated head of the International Council of Organisation of Folklore festivals and folk arts (Accredited to UNESCO). 

He also mentioned the importance of culture in the Education system and, more importantly, regular activities focused on the promotion of Culture are needed among youths. 

He also thanked the U.P.Tourism Department (Government of Uttar Pradesh) for their valuable support to the foundation. It was amazing to see the extraordinary work done by the students using their best skills. He congratulated the winners and shared his vision of culture with the various educationists present.    

On this occasion, many Principals were also honored for their work in the education field.   

Kapur Vir Bhan, Artist and Chairman of Charu Castle foundation, presented the details of the activity before the winners and visitors. He also shared his future vision of work for the welfare of students and for the promotion of Art and Culture. He further mentioned that cultural activities need attention and emphasized their importance in the current scenario. He also informed the audience that the next Exhibition would be held in Shimla in from 24th to 26th March 2023.

Many Educationists, Krishan Vir Sirohi, Gulshan Bhamri, Vinu Chaudri, Mrs Neetu Chwla, Mrs Toshima, Mrs. Pooja,Dr. Shikha, Abhishek, Dr. Bhambri and a large number of art teachers graced the occasion. Many students from various schools from nearby areas like  DPS – Siddhart Vihar, Dasna, Raj Nagar, Sahibabad, Parevartan School, Ingraham School, SSK Public School, DAV Public school, DLF, Modern Public Shalimar Bagh, Modern School Noida, St Andrews, Delhi Mar Thoma school, Ghaziabad Public School, Nav Jeewan School, Sharda International were also presented.

The event Sanskriti ke Rang International Painting Competition has been successfully concluded with a vote of thanks to the guests, U.P.Tourism, Participating schools, colleges, various educationists present, Ram Chameli Chadha College and staff of Charu Castle Foundation for their support and cooperation.
