Then my musician and childhood friend Praveen Kuvar had a discussion with him and then a meeting with Mandar Cholkar, a leading singer in Marathi.

After much discussion, the core of the song was decided and Shankar Mahadevan was chosen as the singer. Shankar Mahadevan means famous name in Hindi. Then we thought of giving Sufi touch to this song.
