New Delhi [India], August 28: The PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry organized a Logistics and Warehousing Summit at the Brilliant Convention Center in Indore. The summit was chaired by Dr. Sanjeev Khanna, COO and Vice Chairman of Patanjali Foods, with participation from the Indore Management Association.

During the inaugural session, Mr. Saurabh Kataria (IRTS), Senior Divisional Commercial Manager of Railways, Western Zone, outlined the new initiatives and facilities provided by the railways for industries. Mr. Santosh Kumar (IRS), Special Customs Officer at the SEZ in Indore, highlighted the presence of major companies within the SEZ and their impact on boosting the local logistics business.

Dr. Sanjeev Khanna, chairing the event, emphasized the need for logistics companies and the warehousing sector to embrace new technologies, enhance skilled labor, and adopt environmentally friendly practices. Mr. Praveen Agarwal, Director of Polyraj and Agarwal Group and a member of the Indore Management Association, remarked that growth in the warehousing and logistics sector is a strong indicator of economic development.

Mr. Aniruddha Dubey, Resident Manager of PHDCCI, conducted the inaugural session. He shared that the state has six ICDs and that the state government is continuously working to improve the logistics sector.

The technical session was chaired and conducted by Dr. Rohit Kapoor, Professor at IIM Indore. The panel included Mr. Akash Joshi, Founder and CEO of IMAST; Mr. Saurabh Mantri, Founder of Load Me; Mr. Sameep Tripathi, CEO of Seras Mobility Solutions; Ms. Barkha Agarwal, Founder of Jet Trade Logistics Pvt. Ltd.; and Dr. Priyanka Mokshmar, Founder and CEO of Vayu.

Mr. Akash Joshi, Founder and Director at Imast operations private limited , delivered a compelling talk on how integrated technology can revolutionize the entire supply chain, giving organizations a competitive edge. He shared a successful case study of technology implementation in the supply chain by IMAST, showcasing the transformative impact of integrated technology, which covers Distributor Management Systems, Sales Force Automation systems, Customer Loyalty Solutions etc., in tracking and problem-solving.

Members of the Indore Realtors Welfare Association (IRWA) also participated in the program. The vote of thanks was delivered by Mr. Aniruddha Dubey. More than 80 representatives from manufacturing companies, startups, logistics, warehousing companies, and transport companies participated in the event.
